Resumen
La presente investigación se centra en el análisis de la imagen femenina en la dramaturgia contemporánea escrita por en los años 90 en Costa Rica. Para
realizar dicho estudio se escogieron las obras dramáticas El cristal mi infancia de Roxana Campos; Tarde de granizo y musgo, de Leda Cavallini; Baby Boom en el paraíso, de Ana Istarú; y ¿Me entiende?, de Ishtar Yasin. El Criterio de selección se fundamentó en el hecho de que las autoras reflejaran una visión de las mujeres en el contexto cultural. La selección incluye obras publicadas y no publicadas. Los objetivos de la investigación consistieron en analizar la imagen femenina de los textos seleccionados desde la perspectiva de género los ejes temáticos y sus características en la escritura de las mujeres. La metodología cualitativa como instrumento de análisis permitió conocer algunos aspectos del orden socio-cultural reflejado en los textos seleccionados. En dicho análisis se reconocieron los conceptos cultura, identidad y cuerpo partiendo de las propuestas de Marcela Lagarde, Asunción Bernárdez y Conzuelo Mesa.
Además, se analizó la escritura usando las referencias teóricas propuestas por Biruté Ciplijauskaité y Sylvia Molloy, aplicando conceptos como la escritura testimonial, la introspección, la memoria, el monólogo, el lenguaje y los simbolismos. La investigación muestra que los textos reflejan la dominación y la explotación hacia la mujer desde que es niña. Se evidencia que la familia reproduce la violencia latente en la sociedad y se denuncia el incesto en el seno familiar. Se infiere en las obras una posición feminista para que se realice una revisión ideológica de nuestra sociedad y de la importancia y necesidad de que las mujeres se apropien de su cuerpo como sujeto y no como objeto. La dramaturgia femenina en Costa Rica en los años 90 es iconoclasta y propone temas que rompen con los esquemas patriarcales al presentar personajes femeninos cuya prioridad es el sentido y la ubicación en el mundo en un ambiente de equidad, respeto y dignidad.
This research focuses on the analysis of the feminine image in contemporary dramaturgy written by Costa Rica in the 90s. For To carry out this study, the dramatic works El cristal mi childhood by Roxana Campos were chosen; Hail and Moss Afternoon, by Leda Cavallini; Baby Boom in paradise, by Ana Istarú; and Do you understand me ?, by Ishtar Yasin. The Selection Criteria was based on the fact that the authors reflected a vision of women in the cultural context. The selection includes published and unpublished works. The research objectives consisted of analyzing the feminine image of the selected texts from the gender perspective, the thematic axes and their characteristics in the writing of women. The qualitative methodology as an instrument of analysis allowed to know some aspects of the socio-cultural order reflected in the selected texts. In this analysis, the concepts of culture, identity and body were recognized based on the proposals of Marcela Lagarde, Asunción Bernárdez and Conzuelo Mesa. In addition, writing was analyzed using the theoretical references proposed by Biruté Ciplijauskaité and Sylvia Molloy, applying concepts such as testimonial writing, introspection, memory, monologue, language and symbolism. Research shows that the texts reflect the domination and exploitation of women since she was a child. It is evident that the family reproduces the latent violence in society and incest is denounced in the family. A feminist position is inferred in the works for an ideological review of our society and of the importance and need for women to appropriate their bodies as subjects and not as objects. The female dramaturgy in Costa Rica in the 90s is iconoclastic and proposes themes that break patriarchal schemes by presenting female characters whose priority is the sense and location in the world in an environment of equity, respect and dignity.
