Resumen
El siguiente trabajo tiene como finalidad investigar cómo desarrollan la gestión directiva las personas profesionales en Educación Especial con recargo administrativo, en los Centros de Atención Integral para Personas Adultas con Discapacidad (CAIPAD) ubicados en el Área Metropolitana. A lo largo de los años se ha establecido una figura de la persona docente con recargo de funciones para la administración, lo cual ha generado complejidad en la ejecución de las acciones que competen a cada área profesional, en este caso en la Educación Especial y la Administración Educativa, así como la gestión de los centros. La investigación se desarrolla desde un enfoque cualitativo, el cual parte de la experiencia de las personas docentes con recargo de funciones en los CAIPAD como objeto de estudio, en donde se profundiza la obtención de información por medio de: entrevistas a las personas participantes y un grupo focal. Así, se discute el perfil del docente de Educación Especial y de la persona encargada de la gestión administrativa de los CAIPAD, así como las competencias necesarias para el desarrollo de sus funciones. Entre las conclusiones de la investigación se determina la importancia de que los Centros de Atención de Personas Adultas con Discapacidad sean gestionados por personas conocedoras en el área de la Administración Educativa y la Educación Especial.
The purpose of the following work is to investigate how Special Education professionals with administrative overload develop the management of the Comprehensive Care Centers for Adults with Disabilities (CAIPAD) located in the Metropolitan Area. Over the years, a figure of the teacher with administrative surcharge has been established, which has generated complexity in the execution of the actions that fall within the competence of each professional area, in this case in Special Education and Educational Administration, as well as the management of the centers. The research is developed from a qualitative approach, which is based on the experience of teachers with extra duties in CAIPADs as the object of study, where information is obtained through interviews with the participants and a focus group. Thus, the profile of the Special Education teacher and of the person in charge of the administrative management of CAIPADs is discussed, as well as the competencies necessary for the development of their functions. Among the conclusions of the research, it is determined the importance that the Care Centers for Adults with Disabilities are managed by people knowledgeable in the area of Educational Administration and Special Education.
