Diagnóstico socioterritorial del plan regulador de Santa Cruz, Guanacaste

Abstract

El presente trabajo se centra en describir el eje social del diagnóstico territorial del cantón de Santa Cruz, mediante la recopilación y sistematización de datos utilizando fuentes secundarias, que sirva de insumo en la elaboración del Plan Regulador de dicho cantón. El trabajo de investigación parte de un carácter mixto, debido a que a través de la integración del enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, se aspira a obtener una comprensión más holística del comportamiento que presentan las variables de población, cultura, hogar, migración y vulnerabilidad social en el territorio santacruceño, con la intención de desarrollar una herramienta de ordenamiento territorial y planificación urbana, que permita redistribuir de una manera más equitativa y sostenible los recursos, servicios e infraestructura presentes en el cantón, y del mismo modo, tenga la capacidad de solventar las necesidades y preocupaciones de la población en el marco de una sociedad que está continuamente transformándose.This work is focused on describing the social axis of the territorial diagnosis of the canton of Santa Cruz, through the compilation and systematization of data using secondary sources, which will serve as input in the preparation of the Regulatory Plan of the canton. The research work starts from a mixed character, due to the fact that through the integration of a qualitative and quantitative approach, the aim is to obtain a more holistic understanding of the behavior of the variables of population, culture, household, migration and social vulnerability in the Santa Cruz territory, with the intention of developing a tool for land use and urban planning, which allows a more equitable and sustainable redistribution of resources, services and infrastructure present in the canton, and at the same time, has the ability to meet the needs and concerns of the population in the context of a society that is continually changing.
