Estudio cuantitativo sobre la situación laboral de los egresados de la carrera de Bachillerato en Gestión Empresarial del Turismo Sostenible de la Universidad Nacional, Sede Región Brunca, Campus Pérez Zeledón (2009-2013)

Resumen
Analiza la situación laboral de los profesionales graduados en la carrera Bachillerato en Gestión Empresarial del Turismo Sostenible de la Universidad Nacional, Sede Región Brunca. Mide el grado de satisfacción de los egresados y de los empleadores en relación con la formación académica recibida en la carrera y las funciones que ejecutan en sus campos de especialización en los puestos de trabajo. Describe las características socio demográficas de los egresados y su nivel de ocupación en el mercado laboral, así como la percepción del impacto de la carrera en su situación socioeconómica. La investigación es cuantitativa, y es de carácter descriptiva, se utilizó una muestra de 66 estudiantes graduados de la carrera entre los años 2009 al 2013, más los empleadores de los egresados. Entre las conclusiones, se destaca la aceptación en el mercado laboral, sin embargo, solo un 43% labora en el área turística. En materia de ingresos se refleja insatisfacción en los salarios percibidos, y la formación académica es considerada buena.
It analyzes the labor situation of the professionals who graduated from the Bachelor's Degree in Business Management of Sustainable Tourism from the National University, Brunca Region Headquarters. It measures the degree of satisfaction of graduates and employers in relation to the academic training received in the career and the functions they perform in their fields of expertise in the jobs. It describes the socio-demographic characteristics of the graduates and their level of occupation in the labor market, as well as the perception of the impact of the career on their socioeconomic situation. The research is quantitative and descriptive in nature, and used a sample of 66 students who graduated from the career between 2009 and 2013, plus the employers of the graduates. Among the conclusions, the acceptance in the labor market stands out, however, only 43% work in the tourism area. In terms of income, dissatisfaction is reflected in the salaries received, and academic training is considered good.
