Reflexión sobre los Estudios Generales en la Universidad Nacional. A propósito del Congreso de Humanidades, 2007

Abstract

El objetivo de este documento es hacer una breve referencia a la situación actual de lo que hemos llamado Humanidades y al contexto filosófico e ideológico en el que se sitúa su quehacer, como una reflexión previa al Congreso de Humanidades que se está organizando en el Centro de Estudios Generales de la Universidad Nacional para el año 2007. Este tema tiene que ser tomado en cuenta para poder comprender la trascendencia de los estudios humanísticos y su función en el mundo de hoy.

The purpose of this document is to make a brief reference to the current situation of what we have called Humanities and the philosophical and ideological context in which its work is situated, as a reflection prior to the Congress of Humanities that is being organized at the Center for General Studies of the National University for the year 2007. This theme must be taken into account in order to understand the transcendence of humanistic studies and their role in today's world.
