Sistema Web Integrado de Citologías (SICI)

Abstract

El presente documento se encargará de describir en forma detallada la funcionalidad correspondiente al Sistema Web Integrado de Citologías (SICI), el cual consiste en la administración por parte de los médicos especialistas, junto con el personal del Centro Nacional de Citologías, de la información correspondiente a las muestras citológicas tomadas en los Centros de Salud rurales del país, donde los datos obtenidos serán almacenados previamente por los usuarios respectivos, para luego ser controlados y visualizados mediante la implementación de una plataforma en ambiente Web. Dicha aplicación estará a disposición de los Centros Hospitalarios que lo requieran, ya que el acceso será en forma remota directamente a los servidores de hospedaje del sistema y del motor de la Base de Datos localizados en las Oficinas Centrales de la Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (C.C.S.S.) en San José.

This document will be in charge of describing in detail the functionality corresponding to the Integrated Cytology Web System (SICI), which consists of the administration by specialist doctors, together with the staff of the National Cytology Center, of the corresponding information to the cytological samples taken in the rural Health Centers of the country, where the data obtained will be previously stored by the respective users, to be later controlled and visualized through the implementation of a platform in a Web environment. Said application will be available to the Hospital Centers that require it, since the access will be remotely directly to the hosting servers of the system and the engine of the Database located in the Central Offices of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund ( C.C.S.S.) in San José.
