Resumen
El Congreso Iberoamericano de Historia de la Educación Matemática (CIHEM) se ha descrito como es un evento académico y científico bienal cuyo propósito radica en la consolidación de una comunidad amplia y con diversidad de intereses en esta temática. En las distintas ediciones del CIHEM han convergido grupos de personas investigadoras, educadoras, matemáticas, historiadoras o una integración total o parcial de estas, con la finalidad de divulgar resultados de investigación de alto impacto obtenidos por iniciativas institucionales o individuales de distintas universidades.
La séptima edición del CIHEM, llevada a cabo en Costa Rica (Heredia, 2023) estuvo a cargo de un grupo de personas comprometidas de la Escuela de Matemática de la Universidad Nacional (https://www.matematica.una.ac.cr/). Tuvo como sede el Auditorio Institucional Cora Ferro Calabrese de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica y contó con el apoyo de distintas instancias académicas y administrativas.
The Ibero-American Congress on the History of Mathematics Education (CIHEM) has been described as a biennial academic and scientific event whose purpose lies in the consolidation of a broad community with a diversity of interests in this topic. In the different editions of CIHEM, groups of researchers, educators, mathematicians, historians or a total or partial integration of these have converged, with the aim of disseminating high-impact research results obtained by institutional or individual initiatives from different universities. The seventh edition of CIHEM, held in Costa Rica (Heredia, 2023) was led by a group of committed people from the School of Mathematics of the National University (https://www.matematica.una.ac.cr/ ). It was based at the Cora Ferro Calabrese Institutional Auditorium of the National University of Costa Rica and had the support of different academic and administrative bodies.
