Método Pictofónico (PiFo): una alternativa educativa para el fortalecimiento de la lectoescritura de los niños y las niñas de II año, de la comunidad de Santa Cecilia, Guanacaste, periodos lectivos 2022-2023.

Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación, con modalidad proyecto, está compuesto por cinco capítulos, los cuales dirigen la investigación y la importancia que tiene la aplicación del método PiFo en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en los niños y las niñas de la escuela de la comunidad de Santa Cecilia.
Para este estudio, se tomó como referente el Octavo Informe de la Educación del 2021. Ya que señala que la educación costarricense muestra una problemática grande, donde las personas estudiantes presentan rezago en dos áreas lingüísticas, las cuales son la lectura y la escritura, a causa de las huelgas que se han presentado en el contexto educativo, seguidamente de dos años de pandemia y de no asistencia a las aulas.
Por lo tanto, fue necesario dar solución a dicha problemática en regiones rurales como lo es la comunidad de Santa Cecilia, y para ayudar a las personas estudiantes se implementó el Método Pictofónico (PiFo): una alternativa educativa para el fortalecimiento de la lectoescritura de los niños y las niñas de II año, de la comunidad de Santa Cecilia, Guanacaste, periodos lectivos 2022-2023, Este método ofrece una variedad de estrategias que lo hace integral, para atender las necesidades de los educandos.
En este sentido, se brindó apoyo pedagógico con el método PiFo a ocho participantes, con una metodología cualitativa, mediante una investigación acción, donde se diseñó una propuesta para luego implementar las etapas del método PiFo. En este sentido, es importante mencionar que la acción que se dio por medio del método aplicado generó un impacto positivo en las personas estudiantes.
This research work, with project modality, is composed of five chapters, which direct the investigation and the importance of the application of the PiFo method in the teaching and learning process in the children of the school of the community of Saint Cecilia. For this study, the Eighth Education Report of 2021 was taken as a reference. Since it indicates that Costa Rican education shows a great problem, where students present a lag in two linguistic areas, which are reading and writing, because of the strikes that have occurred in the educational context, followed by two years of pandemic and non-attendance in the classroom. Therefore, it was necessary to solve this problem in rural regions such as the community of Santa Cecilia, and to help students, the Pictophonic Method (PiFo) was implemented: an educational alternative to strengthen the literacy of students second year boys and girls, from the community of Santa Cecilia, Guanacaste, school periods 2022-2023. This method offers a variety of strategies that make it comprehensive, to meet the needs of students. In this sense, pedagogical support was provided with the PiFo method to eight participants, with a qualitative methodology, through action research, where a proposal was designed to later implement the stages of the PiFo method. In this, it is important to mention that the action that was given through the applied method had a positive impact on the students.
