Estudio sobre la utilización de la información catastral y registral compilada en el catastro municipal del cantón de Barva como insumo para el programa de regularización del catastro y registro de Costa Rica

Abstract

Este documento contiene la descripción del estudio realizado sobre los datos disponibles en el Catastro Municipal del cantón de Barva, en la provincia de Heredia, Costa Rica. Con el estudio realizado se caracteriza la información catastral disponible en la Municipalidad, cuya orientación básica es fiscal, y se determina la congruencia de estos datos con las inscripciones registrales de las propiedades, las cuales constan en el Registro Público de la Propiedad Inmueble del país. Como parte del estudio se revisó y analizó toda la información relativa a la descripción física y jurídica de una muestra de los predios identificados por el Catastro Municipal, incluyendo una verificación de la información en el campo. Con base en los resultados de la evaluación se elabora una propuesta para aprovechar el Catastro Municipal como insumo en el Programa de Regularización del Catastro y Registro cuya ejecución inicio recientemente y tiene como objetivo el mejoramiento de la seguridad jurídica sobre la propiedad inmueble.

This document contains the description of the study carried out on the data available in the Municipal Cadastre of the canton of Barva, in the province of Heredia, Costa Rica. With the study carried out, the cadastral information available in the Municipality is characterized, whose basic orientation is fiscal, and the congruence of these data with the registry inscriptions of the properties, which are recorded in the Public Registry of Real Estate Property of the country, is determined. As part of the study, all the information related to the physical and legal description of a sample of the properties identified by the Municipal Cadastre was reviewed and analyzed, including a verification of the information in the field. Based on the results of the evaluation, a proposal is made to take advantage of the Municipal Cadastre as an input in the Cadastre and Registry Regularization Program whose execution began recently and has as its objective the improvement of legal security on real property.
