Propuesta de reestructuración enfocada en la eficiencia operativa del servicio al cliente de la Empresa Multinacional “Evolveware”: un estudio de caso

Resumen
La presente investigación analiza la relación entre el comercio internacional y la eficiencia operativa bajo un contexto actual de globalización acelerada y aplicado al caso específico de la empresa “Evolveware” en Costa Rica. El problema central se enfoca en cómo la gerencia del equipo de Servicio al Cliente de la empresa puede organizar la operación e integrar la tecnología para mejorar el servicio al cliente que brinda y por lo tanto su competitividad. La metodología empleada consistió en un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo que permitió evaluar el desempeño de la empresa y proponer áreas de mejora basadas en el contexto real de la empresa y los enfoques teóricos relevantes. Los principales resultados señalan áreas de mejora relevantes en relación con la estructura del equipo, el CRM utilizado y las métricas de desempeño. Se recomiendan las siguientes acciones: 1) simplificar la estructura del equipo, específicamente la descripción de roles, para brindar mayor flexibilidad; 2) implementar Intercom como CRM, dada su capacidad para ofrecer gestión centralizada, visibilidad de métricas de desempeño, amplias funciones de inteligencia artificial y optimización de costos; y 3) establecer métricas de desempeño específicas, medibles y accionables.
This research analyzes the relationship between international trade and operational efficiency within the current context of accelerated globalization, specifically applying it to the case of the company "Evolveware" in Costa Rica. The central problem focuses on how the company's Customer Service team management can organize operations and integrate technology to improve customer service and, consequently, its competitiveness. The methodology employed consisted of a qualitative and quantitative approach that allowed for the evaluation of the company's performance and the proposal of areas for improvement based on the company's real-world context and relevant theoretical frameworks. The main findings indicate significant areas for improvement related to team structure, the CRM used, and performance metrics. The following actions are recommended: 1) simplify the team structure, specifically the role descriptions, to provide greater flexibility; 2) implement Intercom as the CRM, given its capacity to offer centralized management, visibility of performance metrics, extensive artificial intelligence functions, and cost optimization; and 3) establish specific, measurable, and actionable performance metrics.
