Inserción laboral de los egresados del bachillerato de la carrera Administración de Oficinas del Campus Pérez Zeledón, Sede Regional Brunca, Universidad Nacional y la percepción de los empleadores sobre su perfil profesional durante el periodo 2020-2023

Resumen
Analiza la inserción laboral de los egresados del Bachillerato en Administración de Oficinas del Campus Pérez Zeledón, Sede Regional Brunca de la Universidad Nacional, así como la percepción de los empleadores respecto a su perfil profesional durante el periodo 2020-2023. Para ello, se plantean objetivos específicos que incluyen la identificación de las oportunidades laborales que han encontrado los graduados en diferentes sectores, tanto públicos como privados, en el cantón de Pérez Zeledón. Además, se busca determinar cómo valoran los empleadores a estos profesionales y si el perfil académico del programa se alinea con las habilidades y destrezas que el mercado laboral local demanda, lo que permitirá identificar posibles áreas de mejora en la formación de los futuros egresados. El enfoque metodológico de la investigación es mixto, de tipo exploratorio. La muestra se delimitó a una población a 55 egresados de la carrera Administración de Oficinas, y 13 empleadores de empresas tanto públicas como privadas del cantón de Pérez Zeledón. La investigación concluye que, aunque se ha observado un aumento en el número de egresados de la carrera de Administración de Oficinas del Campus Pérez Zeledón entre 2020 y 2021, solo una parte de ellos ha logrado insertarse en el mercado laboral. De los 55 egresados, solo 26 se encontraban trabajando al momento de la entrevista. La mayoría de los egresados con trabajo lo hace en el sector privado, aunque también hay contrataciones en cooperativas y entidades públicas. Además, la investigación identifica áreas de mejora para fortalecer la empleabilidad de los futuros egresados, como el dominio del idioma inglés y el desarrollo de competencias en áreas legales y tecnológicas. Los empleadores valoran habilidades blandas, formación académica y ética en el trabajo, lo que indica que los egresados tienen un perfil adecuado para el mercado.
It analyzes the labor market insertion of the graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in Office Administration of the Pérez Zeledón Campus, Brunca Regional Headquarters of the Universidad Nacional, as well as the perception of employers regarding their professional profile during the period 2020-2023. To this end, specific objectives include the identification of job opportunities that graduates have found in different sectors, both public and private, in the canton of Pérez Zeledón. In addition, we seek to determine how employers value these professionals and whether the academic profile of the program is aligned with the skills and abilities demanded by the local labor market, which will allow us to identify possible areas for improvement in the training of future graduates. The methodological approach of the research is mixed, of an exploratory type. The sample was limited to a population of 55 graduates of the Office Administration career, and 13 employers from both public and private companies in the canton of Pérez Zeledón. The research concludes that, although an increase in the number of Office Administration graduates from the Pérez Zeledón Campus between 2020 and 2021 has been observed, only a part of them have managed to enter the labor market. Out of the 55, only 26 were working at the time of the interview. The majority of graduates with jobs are working in the private sector, although there are also contracts in cooperatives and public-s-s-s-sector companies. In addition, the research identifies areas for improvement to strengthen the employability of future graduates, such as English language proficiency and the development of competencies in legal and technological areas. Employers value soft skills, academic training and work ethics, which indicates that graduates have an adequate profile for the market.
