Resumen
Este es un conjunto de textos para aprender, para reflexionar y para admirarnos de lo que realiza la UNA como “Universidad Necesaria”, como institución de Educación Superior Pública comprometida con las comunidades y con sus problemáticas y, por lo tanto, para incentivarnos a continuarla apoyando y defendiendo frente a las corrientes contemporáneas que quieren reducir las Universidades Públicas a un estrecho y rastrero sentido mercantil y comercial, en un contexto en el que se pretende colocar al valor del mercado como el valor central que rige todo, incluso el sentido y la producción del conocimiento y que pretendería aniquilar el carácter profundamente humanista del quehacer universitario público, crítico, popular, democrático, transformador.
This is a set of texts to learn, to reflect and to admire what the UNA does as a “Necessary University”, as an institution of Public Higher Education committed to the communities and their problems and, therefore, to encourage us to continue supporting and defending it against contemporary currents that want to reduce Public Universities to a narrow and creeping mercantile and commercial sense, in a context in which they try to place the value of the market as the central value that governs everything, including the meaning and production of knowledge and that would try to annihilate the profoundly humanistic character of public, critical, popular, democratic and transforming university work.
