It presents a proposal for dialogue between the Christianity of the Religious Education programs, a fundamental element of the Costa Rican educational curriculum, and the good way of living, a way of life born in the native peoples of South America. As a possible result, Religious Education could be seen as a meeting place for the diversity of spiritualities and contribute to the construction of a culture of peace. The work is structured in three parts. The first part presents an introduction to Good Living as a philosophy of life and its most relevant aspects such as: origin, concept, contextualization, characteristics and values. This is followed by a reference to the implementation of Buen Vivir in Bolivia and Ecuador. The second part presents a critical deconstruction of the objectives and contents of the Religious Education curricula in the light of current situations and the dominant economic system: Capitalism. At the same time, a comparative analysis of what the Good Life exposes in relation to these topics, from the perspective of the research team, is offered. Finally, in the third part, an alternative proposal to the Religious Education Programs of I and II Cycles is presented, specifically in the reconstruction of the objectives and general contents. The aim of this proposal would be to guide the student to be an agent of change and to leave a positive mark on his environment.
