adecuado a tiempo
The current report has prepared based on the cases seen at the Veterinaria Gómez during 8 months, with the objective to determine the diseases related to anorexia in dogs and cats. There were 510 cases in total, from which 461 were dogs and 49 were cats. From those cases, there were 45 cases of anorexia, 41 canines and 4 feline. Collateral tests were the key in getting to the diagnosis in some of the cases seen and the hemogram was the most used. 46% from the cases involving anorexia also presented infectious disease. 26% of patients with anorexia died. A quick diagnostic is very important in order to start an appropriate medical treatment on time. Many medical treatments are initially symptomatic and the selection of medicines is based on the diagnosis, the medicines farmacoquinetic and farmacodinamia, as well as the economic factor.
