Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación se dirige al análisis sobre la realidad actual del
transporte público modalidad taxi con el fin de brindar una propuesta de Escenarios
futuros de Peter Schwartz en procura de la modernización de la flota de transporte
público modalidad taxi de la base de operación AM San José. Dicho cambio formaría
parte del compromiso adquirido por Costa Rica de llegar a ser carbono neutro en el 2050.
El desarrollo de la investigación consta de seis capítulos. En el capítulo I, se expone la
realidad actual y se establecen los antecedentes: delimitación del tema, justificación y
objetivos del trabajo. Seguidamente, en el capítulo II, se presenta el marco teórico que
se compone del marco referencial de Costa Rica, el marco legal sobre el cual se explica
el transporte público modalidad taxi, los objetivos de Costa Rica para ser carbono neutro,
los aspectos conceptuales y las diferentes referencias internacionales sobre
experiencias similares en México, Colombia y Chile.
El capítulo III trata sobre el marco metodológico en el cual se evidencia el tipo y el
enfoque de investigación, la población, los actores, las fuentes de información y la
delimitación. En el IV capítulo, se muestra el detalle de los hallazgos obtenidos del trabajo
de campo con las encuestas y las entrevistas realizadas a los principales actores del
objeto en estudio.
Posteriormente, en el capítulo V, se desarrolla la propuesta informativa y los escenarios
futuros para la modernización de la flota de transporte público modalidad taxi de la base
de operación AM San José. Finalmente, en el último capítulo VI, se realizan las
conclusiones y las recomendaciones sobre el análisis de los instrumentos ejecutados
durante la investigación.
The present research work is directed to the analysis of the current reality of the public transport modality taxi in order to provide a proposal of Scenarios Peter Schwartz futures in search of the modernization of the transport fleet public taxi modality of the AM San José operation base. Such a change would form part of the commitment acquired by Costa Rica to become carbon neutral in 2050. The development of the investigation consists of six chapters.
