Resumen
El libro pretende aportar a la discusión y reflexión de la gestión de la responsabilidad
social empresarial que desarrollan algunas grandes empresas que pueden ser referentes
para las mipymes (micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas) desde la perspectiva de los ejes
sobre comunidad, proveedores, ambiente y público interno así como despertar el interés para
iniciar la transformación hacia una gestión comprometida con el capital social y el desarrollo
humano sostenible.
El libro contempla cuatro capítulos. El primero de ellos se refiere a la gestión de la responsabilidad
social en la sociedad y se aborda de manera particular el impacto de la RSE en la
comunidad. En dicho capítulo se muestra como estudios de caso, las prácticas ejecutadas por
las empresas ACORDE, Bac Credomatic, Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, Haycom, Hewlett
Packard Costa Rica, ITS Info Com, Península de Papagayo y Hotel Punta Islita en sus relaciones
con la comunidad.
Por su parte, el segundo capítulo analiza la gestión de la responsabilidad social en la cadena
de proveedores desde la perspectiva del comportamiento responsable recíproco y describe el
caso de la cadena de supermercados Wal mart.
El tercer capítulo trata sobre la gestión de la responsabilidad social empresarial en el público
interno como componente fundamental del capital social y muestra algunos de los beneficios
para las empresas de desarrollar una estrategia dirigida al público interno y aborda el caso
de las empresas Kimberly Clark y Subway Costa Rica.
Seguidamente, el cuarto capítulo contempla la gestión de la responsabilidad social empresarial
en el ambiente y ejemplifica dicha gestión ambiental que desarrollan las empresas Kimberly
Clark y la Península Papagayo en sus proyectos ambientales.
The book aims to contribute to the discussion and reflection on the management of responsibility social business developed by some large companies that can be benchmarks for MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) from the perspective of the axes about the community, suppliers, environment and internal public as well as awakening the interest for start the transformation towards a management committed to social capital and development sustainable human. The book includes four chapters. The first of them refers to the management of responsibility social in society and the impact of CSR on the community. This chapter shows as case studies, the practices carried out by the companies ACORDE, Bac Credomatic, Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, Haycom, Hewlett Packard Costa Rica, ITS Info Com, Peninsula de Papagayo and Hotel Punta Islita in their relationships with the community. For its part, the second chapter analyzes the management of social responsibility in the chain suppliers from the perspective of reciprocal responsible behavior and describes the case of the supermarket chain Wal mart. The third chapter deals with the management of corporate social responsibility in the public internal as a fundamental component of social capital and shows some of the benefits for companies to develop a strategy aimed at the internal public and addresses the case of the Kimberly Clark and Subway Costa Rica companies. Next, the fourth chapter contemplates the management of corporate social responsibility in the environment and exemplifies said environmental management carried out by Kimberly companies Clark and the Papagayo Peninsula in their environmental projects.
