The purpose of this research was to analyze the social, family and personal difficulties experienced in the daily life of the members of the group Movimiento de Personas con Discapacidad, San Isidro del General, 2010. This research is framed within the qualitative approach, using a multiple case study methodology. This research was carried out by interviewing and observing the subjects of the study, which were 12 people with disabilities, as well as 10 family members or people close to the people with disabilities who are members of the group Movimiento de Personas con Discapacidad (Movement of People with Disabilities). The results show that people with disabilities experience multiple difficulties in their daily lives, since, at the social level, it was concluded that there is little accessibility and numerous architectural and communication barriers. Likewise, difficulties are perceived due to the non-application of Law 7600 on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities. At the family level, difficulties were evidenced in relation to overprotection, family and economic crises. Finally, at the personal level, they have difficulties in self-esteem and self-acceptance, due to the lack of opportunities for self-improvement and job opportunities. Among the main recommendations, it is suggested to create social awareness on the importance of being informed on the subject of disability, in order to establish a culture based on tolerance and respect for diversity. Promote at the social level the responsibility to comply with the laws, in this case Law 7600 on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities, so that it is respected and the rights of this population are enforced. Establish more opportunities for improvement for people with disabilities, because it is necessary for society to advance and be equitable with all people who are part of it.
