Resumen
Identifica el mercado potencial existente para posicionarse con el mercado meta y plantear una estrategia de comercialización para el Centro Educativo La Pradera, de San Isidro de El General con el fin de incrementar la matrícula. Además, determina las posibles causas de deserción escolar del centro educativo. Es una investigación descriptiva - exploratoria. Se aplico dos cuestionarios uno para padres de familia que sus hijos hacen uso del servicio que brinda el Centro Educativo Privado La Pradera y otro a los padres de familia que habitan en el área urbana de San Isidro. Los resultados más importantes indican que el mercado potencial para el Centro Educativo La Pradera lo constituyen los padres que se desempeñan en actividades comerciales, técnicas y profesionales con un ingreso superior a los 150.000 mensuales. Mientras que la causa de deserción escolar, según lo indicaron los padres de familia, es porque la institución mantiene una infraestructura inadecuada en aulas y ventilación, además una administración deficiente.

Meanwhile, according to parents, the cause of school dropout is because the institution has inadequate infrastructure in classrooms and ventilation, as well as poor administration.
