This article exposes the main characteristics of what are called new actors in regional Central American mobility in recent years, determined by causal aspects such as violence, economic processes and dynamics of institutional weakness present in most of the Central American countries. Based on fundamentally documentary research, it analyzes the recent features of the region, characterized by the production of violence, inequality and lack of opportunities and the way such factors intervene in the appearance of new subjects in regional mobility. Two actors are clearly identified by the context: Central American migrant children and people of sexual diversity; on a third actor, some introductory considerations are outlined, due to the lack of updated information on their impact. These are people with disabilities acquired during transit to the destination, particularly in Mexican territory and returning to their countries of origin with new needs for care. The article proposes new readings about the actors linked to mobility in the Central American region.
