The present investigation points towards the indebtedness and the impact that the credits have on teachers in the personal, professional and/or family environment. The indebtedness can be considered as "good", which is the one that is destined to finance necessary goods or services, such as obtaining one's own house, financing studies; although they diminish the liquidity in the present, it contributes to the growth and the own well-being of the teacher. Those that are destined to finance consumer goods can be considered "bad" indebtedness: trips, aesthetics, these allow a personal satisfaction, but diminish the liquidity and do not improve the situation in the future. In conclusion, the decision to take on debt is reflected in the fact that teachers seek out easily accessible loans with few requirements, and it is concluded that personal loans are the most used and that they occupy the largest amount of credit. Financial entities are an important part of the decision to formalize a loan, since teachers look for the one that offers the best interest rate and look for the best way to acquire a loan. Personal situations, such as the acquisition of a good or an unexpected event, have led teachers to visit financial entities in person to learn about them and seek the information that best suits them when deciding to formalize a loan. The research shows that the credit offers are wide and the advertising strategies promoted by the financial entities attract teachers to visit the institution in person to get information. The economic crisis and the excessive use of credits are jointly related, according to its evolution it can influence the economic situation of teachers. A disproportionate growth in the level of indebtedness can have important consequences, since they are less able to deal with unexpected changes. In conclusion, the impact of the increase in indebtedness has caused serious disorders in the teaching staff; in the personal, economic, labor, social and health fields. It has caused a difficult economic situation and a deterioration in personal control.
