Influencia del núcleo familiar, la relación profesor-alumno y la metodología en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de noveno nivel de la Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia del circuito 01 Dirección Regional de Educación Pérez Zeledón durante el tercer periodo del curso lectivo 2006

Resumen
La investigación responde a un estudio de tipo descriptivo, por cuanto permitió conocer, analizar, describir e identificar la influencia del núcleo familiar, la relación profesor-alumno y la metodología en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de Tercer Ciclo de la Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia de Pérez Zeledón. La literatura consultada muestra: el desarrollo del adolescente, la familia, relaciones interpersonales, mediación pedagógica del docente y el rendimiento académico dentro del contexto educativo. En la investigación se utilizaron tres instrumentos dirigidos a estudiantes, padres de familia y docentes respectivamente. La población estuvo conformada por setenta y dos alumnos, setenta y dos padres de familia y quince docentes de la Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que los alumnos mantienen una adecuada relación con sus padres. Además, la relación profesor-alumno es considerada adecuada. La metodología empleada por el docente al impartir la clase se considera apropiada. Como conclusiones se destaca que los alumnos muestran satisfacción, en la relación que mantienen con su familia, ya que manifiestan recibir mucho apoyo y motivación para seguir adelante con los estudios. Los estudiantes mantienen una buena relación con los docentes ya que la mayoría señalan que los profesores lo motivan constantemente a mejorar el rendimiento académico. Los estudiantes señalan satisfacción con las técnicas y estrategias que los docentes utilizan al impartir las lecciones. Entre las principales recomendaciones se sugiere a los estudiantes fortalecer espacios de confianza con los profesores pero muy ligado al respeto. A los padres de familia participar como miembros activos del proceso educativo de los hijos, mostrando interés por las diferentes actividades. Se recomienda a los docentes abordar diferentes temáticas en conjunto con los padres y alumnos. Como limitaciones, los resultados de la investigación sólo explican el problema de la Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia y no se pueden generalizar a otros centros educativos de la región. Además, el estudio se circunscribe únicamente a investigar la influencia del núcleo familiar y la relación profesor-alumno en el rendimiento académico. No obstante, esta investigación puede ser modelo para realizar estudios en el mismo campo o en otras instituciones y con otro nivel de influencia.
The research is a descriptive study, since it allowed to know, analyze, describe and identify the influence of the family nucleus, the teacher-student relationship and the methodology in the academic performance of the third cycle students of the Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia of Pérez Zeledón. The literature consulted shows: adolescent development, family, interpersonal relationships, pedagogical mediation of the teacher and academic performance within the educational context. Three instruments were used in the research aimed at students, parents and teachers, respectively. The population consisted of seventy-two students, seventy-two parents and fifteen teachers of the Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia. The results obtained show that the students maintain an adequate relationship with their parents. In addition, the teacher-student relationship is considered adequate. The methodology used by the teacher in teaching the class is considered appropriate. As conclusions, it is highlighted that the students show satisfaction in the relationship they have with their family, since they state that they receive a lot of support and motivation to continue with their studies. The students maintain a good relationship with the teachers, since most of them indicate that the teachers constantly motivate them to improve their academic performance. Students report satisfaction with the techniques and strategies that teachers use when teaching lessons. Among the main recommendations, it is suggested that students strengthen spaces of trust with teachers, but closely linked to respect. Parents should participate as active members of their children's educational process, showing interest in the different activities. Teachers are recommended to address different topics together with parents and students. As limitations, the results of the research only explain the problem of the Unidad Pedagógica Dr. Rafael Ángel Calderón Guardia and cannot be generalized to other schools in the region. In addition, the study is limited only to investigating the influence of the family nucleus and the teacher-student relationship on academic performance. Nevertheless, this research can be a model for studies in the same field or in other institutions and with another level of influence.
