Factores que influyen en la construcción del conocimiento en las ciencias biológicas de los estudiantes que participan en la IX Olimpiada Costarricense de Ciencias Biológicas (OLICOCIBI)

Abstract

La presente investigación titulada FACTORES QUE WFLUYEN EN LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE CONOCIMIENTO EN LAS CIENCIAS BIOLÓGICAS DE LOS ESTUDIANTES QUE PARTICIPAN EN LA IX OLIMPIADA COSTARRICENSE DE CIENCIAS BIOLÓGICAS (OLICOCIBI), cuyo objetivo fue analizar la influencia de algunos factores en la construcción y comprensión del conocimiento Biológico de los estudiantes que participen en la OLICOCIBI, con el fin de que se generen recomendaciones para quienes participan en futuras ediciones. La importancia de esta investigación, radica en documentar los vacíos de información existentes en el país para generar información actualizada de cómo se viven y aprenden las Ciencias Biológicas en el aula. La metodología empleada, se enmarcó dentro del paradigma positivista y enfoque cuantitativo; los datos acá mencionados fueron recolectados mediante la aplicación de encuestas en etapas, posteriormente se utilizó el programa SPSS para el respectivo análisis de los datos haciendo uso de la estadística Se concluye que, tanto docentes como estudiantes desarrollan acciones positivas que favorecen la construcción y comprensión del conocimiento Biológico; destacándose, el trabajo en equipo y comunicación entre pares educativos y por parte del cuerpo docente en la implementación de diversas estrategias didácticas y técnicas, además de ser un ente motivador y desempeñar buen rol en el aula.

The present investigation entitled FACTORS THAT FLOW IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES OF STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE IX COSTA RICAN OLYMPIA OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES (OLICOCIBI), whose objective was to analyze the influence of some factors in the construction and understanding of Biological knowledge of the students who participate in the OLICOCIBI, in order to generate recommendations for those who participate in future editions. The importance of this research lies in documenting the existing information gaps in the country to generate updated information on how Biological Sciences are lived and learned in the classroom. The methodology used was framed within the positivist paradigm and quantitative approach; The data mentioned here were collected through the application of surveys in stages, later the SPSS program was used for the respective analysis of the data using statistics. It is concluded that both teachers and students develop positive actions that favor the construction and understanding of Biological knowledge; standing out, teamwork and communication between educational peers and by the teaching staff in the implementation of various didactic and technical strategies, in addition to being a motivating entity and playing a good role in the classroom.
