Private Ambulance Service and Primary Health Care in the canton of Perez Zeledon. In the last few days health related issues have generated a stir in the local media, a completely collapsed Social Security system and a growing but still not very accessible private medical system for the inhabitants of the area. By including primary medical care in the ambulance service, a new market is opening up, an opportunity to receive a medical check-up without having to leave home and having the possibility of being transferred to a more specialized medical center in case the ailment warrants it. It will be a complete and mobile system to provide a health service to the inhabitants of the canton, who will not only have at their disposal a transportation service with the requirements of law, but can also choose to have quality medical care in their homes, saving time to travel to medical centers or the inconvenience of having to attend emergencies with children, elderly or chronically ill who do not have a mobility that allows them to move comfortably. This project focuses on two strategic lines. One is the companies who must be interested in receiving the service, have five or more employees, be willing to pay a monthly fee according to the services they wish to acquire, which are detailed in another section of the document. The other is the case of people considered as potential clients, those who have an economic income of ¢241,000 or more, since this income would allow them to cover their basic needs and in case they require an additional service they could be in a position to contract it.
