ISO 26000:2010 a través de un diagnóstico inicial; el diseño de una política de RS;
This paper offers a documentary proposal that delves into the steps to be followed for a company in the industrial real estate sector in Costa Rica to approach the implementation of a Social Responsibility Management Model, complying with basic and general steps that every company in the sector should take into consideration prior to the implementation of the Model. This work takes as a reference any company in the sector without basing itself on any particular one, so certain relevant assumptions are made, which are clarified throughout the research. As part of the purpose and objectives of this work, a documentary proposal is elaborated that covers the design of a social responsibility management model for these companies, in which the following is determined: the relevance of the fundamental matters of ISO 26000:2010 through an initial diagnosis; the design of a SR policy; the development of a due diligence and a materiality process; and the design of a Manual for the appropriation of sustainability internally in the companies of the sector. It is important to point out that all the above is covered through Sections 5, 6 and 7 of the INTE G35:2012 Standard, which include diagnostic exercises, assignment of responsible persons within the company, execution, as well as planning of the social responsibility management model, also taking as an empirical basis the principles established in the ISO 26000:2010 Guide. As part of the main conclusions and recommendations of this work, it can be mentioned that the proposal of the SRM model can help companies in the industrial real estate sector to be in order with the principles, criteria and indicators of social responsibility, the internal appropriation of sustainability and the promotion of a sustainable culture within the organization. This work also presents in the annexes section a series of valuable exercises that could be referenced as a toolbox that any other company in the sector can take as a guide or input to carry out what is necessary to comply with the requirements of these sections.
