Este tópico reflexiona sobre los desafíos contemporáneos en la era de la información, enfocándose en la necesidad de comprender nuevos paradigmas ecológicos como clave para la supervivencia futura. A través del análisis de la literatura como medio simbólico y espiritual, se plantea la relación del ser humano con la naturaleza y la historia. El ensayo examina cómo diversas culturas, ideologías y sistemas educativos especialmente desde la conquista de América hasta la ilustración europea han moldeado el pensamiento humano. Asimismo, se destacan los elementos sociales, económicos y políticos que, al ser reinterpretados críticamente, permiten entender los cambios históricos. La obra concluye con una mirada crítica al crecimiento del capitalismo y su impacto en los giros de la historia y en la humanidad actual, que atraviesa un momento de transición y transformación profunda.
