Precisiones sobre la regulación jurídica del limite entre Costa Rica y Nicaragua: fragmentos normativos y conflictos de un proceso inconcluso

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio de los componentes jurídicos que han caracterizado la relación limítrofe entre Costa Rica y Nicaragua. No se dirige a analizar los diversos problemas históricos de la relación, sino que establece con claridad la forma en que fueron definidos los elementos jurídicos del límite territorial, mediante los instrumentos del Derecho Internacional empleado por las partes.

A study is carried out of the legal components that have described the boundary relationship between Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It is not aimed at analyzing the various historical problems of the relationship, but rather clearly establishes the way in which the legal elements of the territorial limit were defined, through the instruments of International Law used by the parties.
