Resumen
En la actualidad los hoteles han apostado a una mayor inversión en lo que respecta a su imagen corporativa y organización, esto con el fin de atraer mayores clientes y satisfacer sus necesidades. Para el logro de esto, invirtieron al activo más importante que es el capital humano. Esta razón, obedece a que empoderar a sus colaboradores, genera una ventaja competitiva en donde la tecnología y la innovación, son factores claves que permite que los procesos y las tecnologías empleadas en los procesos productivos ayuden a la obtención de bienes y servicios. Es por ello, que muchos de los hoteles de mayor prestigio invierten en sus colaboradores con políticas organizacionales que les coadyuven a un mayor desarrollo del ¿Qué hacer? y una mayor ampliación de sus conocimientos que les permiten realizar el ¿Cómo hacer? de su trabajo. Desarrollar el talento humano, es necesaria la conformación de equipos de trabajo competitivos y autodirigidos, que ayuden a una correcta gestión. Sin embargo, potencializar este talento no es una tarea sencilla, pues cada persona es sujeta a la influencia de muchos factores, tales como: sociales, económicos, culturales, políticos, religiosos, entre otros. Si las empresas se componen de personas, el estudio de las mismas constituye el elemento básico para estudiar su organización y particularmente la gestión del talento humano. No obstante, las empresas turísticas no se eximen de la fuga del talento humano a otras organizaciones a causa de salarios más competitivos, mayores beneficios y oportunidades de desarrollo. Es por ello, la importancia de esta investigación que busca conocer las causas que provocan la rotación de personal en el departamento de recepción y reservaciones del Hotel Bougainvillea.

However, tourism companies are not exempt from the flight of human talent to other organizations due to low salaries to other organizations because of more competitive salaries.
