Resumen
Este plan estratégico sitúa el quehacer académico de la institución en los próximos cuatro años. Indica claramente la necesidad de rediseñar carreras e integrar el quehacer universitario al desarrollo regional. El plan tiene como base los lineamientos institucionales dados para este efecto y se fortalece con diagnósticos regionales e institucionales. También se tomaron en cuenta para su elaboración el Plan Global Institucional 2004-2011 de la Universidad Nacional, el Plan Nacional de la Educación Superior Estatal 2006-2010 elaborado por CONARE, el Plan Estratégico para el Fortalecimiento del Sistema de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación a nivel local y regional, elaborado por CORECIT-Brunca, etc. Además se integró a toda la comunidad universitaria mediante comisiones formadas por el personal de las diferentes departamentos, áreas o direcciones para - académicas.
This strategic plan sets out the institution's academic agenda for the next four years. It clearly indicates the need to redesign degree programs and integrate university activities into regional development. The plan is based on institutional guidelines established for this purpose and is reinforced by regional and institutional assessments. The 2004-2011 Global Institutional Plan of the National University, the 2006-2010 National Plan for State Higher Education developed by CONARE, the Strategic Plan for Strengthening the Science, Technology, and Innovation System at the local and regional levels developed by CORECIT-Brunca, etc., were also taken into account in its preparation. In addition, the entire university community was involved through committees made up of staff from different departments, areas, or academic directorates.
