Resumen
La enfermedad de la necrosis aguda del hepatopáncreas (AHPND) es
ocasionada por bacterias Vibrio parahaemolyticus que contienen el
plásmido pVPA3-1 con las toxinas pirA y pirB. El AHPND se caracteriza
por producir atrofia del hepatopáncreas con descamación masiva de
células epiteliales y muerte de los camarones.
La investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la presencia y factores
de riesgo asociados a AHPND en camarones de cultivo en Costa Rica.
Acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) is caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria that contain the caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus bacteria containing the pVPA3-1 plasmid pVPA3-1 plasmid with the pirA and pirB toxins.
