Tópicos del Humanismo #131 Reflexión sobre los Estudios Generales en la Universiad Nacional. A propósito del Congreso de Humanidades

Abstract

En este tópico se realiza una reflexión sobre la relevancia y desafíos de las humanidades en el contexto actual, destacando la crisis de los Estudios Generales dentro de la universidad. Señalando que estas disciplinas, lejos de estar obsoletos, deben ofrecer un equilibrio entre la cultura, la historia, la filosofía, y el arte, brindando a los estudiantes herramientas para enfrentarse críticamente al mundo dominado por la información y el consumo. Se defiende la importancia de una formación humanista que estimule la reflexión, el pensamiento crítico y la creatividad, especialmente en los jóvenes universitarios. En cuanto a la labor cultural en nuestra Universidad, presentamos unos trabajos importantes por su creatividad de un taller que surgió como idea primigenia de la constante escritura de los jóvenes.

This topic reflects on the relevance and challenges of the humanities in the current context, highlighting the crisis of General Studies within the university. It points out that these disciplines, far from being obsolete, should offer a balance between culture, history, philosophy, and art, providing students with tools to critically face the world dominated by information and consumption. The importance of a humanistic education that stimulates reflection, critical thinking and creativity is defended, especially in young university students. As for the cultural work in our University, we present some important works for their creativity of a workshop that emerged as the original idea of the constant writing of young people.
