The approach of the modern economic objective arises from the influence of one of the most current trends that has been assimilated quickly and very deeply in all types of organizations called value-based management, which consists of a management strategy aimed at giving the market the greatest possible satisfaction through the most effective use of resources, seeking to achieve superior financial returns that maximize the invested capital and ensure a profitable sustainability of the company. This management model requires the organization to develop and apply tools that produce valuable, essential and effective information to assist in a more effective decision-making process, generating for this purpose the EVA2 analysis model or technique, the 1 Ratio, index and ratio are understood as synonymous concepts. 2 EVA stands for Economic Value Added (Economic Value Added). EVA is a registered trademark of Stern & Co. 3 which provides an indicator that integrates the modern approach and concept of economic success. EVA is considered to be much more comprehensive than traditional financial ratios and somewhat more accurate, since its indicator alone considers all the elements that influence the company's economic and financial results: profits, total capital invested and all the costs incurred in operating the business during a given period, giving the company's economic and financial performance as a whole, as well as the total costs incurred in the operation of the business during a given period.
