Resumen
Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo principal indagar cuáles son los factores que influyen en el establecimiento de las relaciones coitales de los estudiantes de undécimo año de este colegio. Está inmersa dentro del enfoque cualitativo y metodología etnográfica. Con fundamento en el contenido de las referencias bibliográficas, se determinó que los adolescentes, a la hora de mantener una relación coital dominan aspectos que están muy lejos de la madurez y racionabilidad, muchos autores sostienen que el deseo de experimentar sus fantasías sexuales, complacer a sus pares o pareja, son elementos que contribuyen a que los adolescentes inicien su actividad sexual coital en esta etapa de la vida, así como la falta de identidad, seguridad de sí mismo o una inadecuada autoestima, ante esto el orientador juega un papel fundamental, por cuanto tiene entre sus funciones brindar al estudiantado un fortalecimiento se su identidad, autoestima, proyecto de vida, buscando siempre promover que el adolescente sea seguro y racional en sus decisiones. Para lograr el objetivo de la investigación, se utilizó la entrevista en profundidad para recolectar la información. Los participantes fueron diez estudiantes de undécimo año, seis docentes y la orientadora encargada. Dentro de los principales hallazgos detectados señalan el deseo de experimentar generado por sus cambios físicos, los medios de comunicación o la insistencia de sus amigos, así como la ausencia de la educación sexual por parte de la familia y docentes; como elementos que influyen directamente en la decisión de tener relaciones coitales en esta etapa de la vida. Las recomendaciones planteadas se resumen en promover la educación sexual por medio de diferentes actividades, tanto a orientadores, docentes, padres de familia como al mismo adolescente, ya que estas poblaciones son un complemento para que ese adolescente maneje una educación sexual transparente, sana y adecuada, algo indispensable para ese adolescente y la toma de decisiones.
The main objective of this research was to investigate which are the factors that influence the establishment of the coital relations of the eleventh year students of this school. It is immersed within the qualitative approach and ethnographic methodology. Based on the content of the bibliographic references, it was determined that adolescents, when it comes to maintaining a coital relationship, dominate aspects that are very far from maturity and rationality. Many authors maintain that the desire to experience their sexual fantasies, to please their peers or partners, are elements that contribute to adolescents initiating their coital sexual activity at this stage of life, As well as the lack of identity, self-confidence or an inadequate self-esteem, the counselor plays a fundamental role, since one of his functions is to provide students with a strengthening of their identity, self-esteem and life project, always seeking to promote that the adolescent is safe and rational in his decisions. To achieve the objective of the research, the in-depth interview was used to collect the information. The participants were ten eleventh grade students, six teachers and the counselor in charge. Among the main findings detected, they point out the desire to experiment generated by their physical changes, the media or the insistence of their friends, as well as the absence of sexual education on the part of the family and teachers; as elements that directly influence the decision to have sexual relations at this stage of life. The recommendations made can be summarized as promoting sex education through different activities, both for counselors, teachers, parents and the adolescent himself, since these populations are a complement for that adolescent to manage a transparent, healthy and adequate sex education, something indispensable for that adolescent and for decision making.
