Abstract

El trabajo analiza las actitudes ante la muerte del grupo de personas que testaron en Cartago durante el siglo XVII. Esta preparación entre los testadores presenta pasos y procesos, en los cuales se establece el papel legal de los deseos del testador y sirve como base a la mortual. Los testadores eran católicos, apostólicos y romanos, aunque no fueran muy practicantes en su vida, se preocupaban por hacer patente su filiación religiosa en esos momentos de su existencia, pues reconocían que el final de esta vida había un juicio del que dependía la salvación eterna, a la que todos aspiraban.

The work analyzes the attitudes towards the death of the group of people who tested in Carthage during the seventeenth century.
