Todos los caminos conducen a... Italia: poesía costarricense traducida al italiano

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados de una investigación sobre la traducción de poesía costarricense al italiano: su evolución, factores condicionantes y formas adoptadas, así como la imagen que proyecta de la poesía original y su función potencial en el polo de recepción. Se concluye que la aparición de tales traducciones obedecería a un criterio de oportunidad y que, en tanto textos poéticos, se habrían adecuado a las expectativas de los lectores meta.The results of research on the translation of Costa Rican poetry into Italian are presented, including its evolution, determining factors, forms adopted, the image the translations project of the original poetry, and their potential function within the target context. It is concluded that the appearance of those translations would have been the result of opportunity and that, as poetic texts, they would have been adapted to the target readers’ expectations.
