Resumen
Los nematodos anisákidos parasitan peces marinos y de agua dulce.
Tres géneros (Anisakis, Contracaecum y Pseudoterranova) se
consideran importantes en salud pública, ya que ocasionan la
anisakidosis en personas que consumen pescados contaminados con el
estadío infectante (L3). El objetivo del estudio fue evidenciar la
presencia de anisákidos en Guapotes (Parachromis sp.), Barbudos
(Rhamdia sp.) y Guabinas (Hoplias sp.) que se pescan artesanalmente.
Anisakid nematodes parasitize marine and freshwater fish. Three genera (Anisakis, Contracaecum and Pseudoterranova) are considered important in public health, since they cause anisakidosis in people who consume fish contaminated with the infective stage (L3). The objective of the study was to demonstrate the presence of anisakids in Guapotes (Parachromis sp.), Barbudos (Rhamdia sp.) and Guabinas (Hoplias sp.) that are fished artisanally.
