Resumen
La investigación realiza un estudio de las construcciones sociales sobre masculinidades
de una profesora y un profesor del departamento de Estudios Sociales y Educación Cívica de
los colegios Liceo de Calle Fallas y Colegio Nacional Virtual Marco Tulio Salazar Sede Callas
Fallas.
La investigación se desarrolló a partir de una metodología con enfoque cualitativo,
donde se emplearon técnicas de recolección de datos como el cuestionario con preguntas
abiertas, análisis de imágenes, de textos y de documentos lo que permitió el estudio de las
construcciones sociales sobre las masculinidades de las personas colaboradoras y de las
estrategias empleadas durante las lecciones al impartir la temática de género.
El estudio aborda dentro del marco conceptual y los instrumentos realizados términos
como masculinidades y feminidades, las cuales son conceptualizaciones en construcción, que
permiten el abordaje de los tópicos desde un enfoque más inclusivo y abierto al abanico de las
identidades de género.
Dentro de los hallazgos se encuentran respuestas que contienen confusión en las
terminologías y teorías con respecto al género. Por lo cual, se insta a las universidades públicas
y privadas cambios en la malla curricular actual o una mayor transversalización del tema. En
el caso del Ministerio de Educación Pública, se recomiendan crear estrategias que posibiliten
el estudio de las masculinidades y un desarrollo de capacitaciones que involucre dicho eje
temático.
The research carries out a study of the social constructions on masculinities of a teacher and a professor from the Department of Social Studies and Civic Education of the schools Liceo de Calle Fallas and Marco Tulio Salazar Virtual National School Callas Headquarters Failures The research was developed from a methodology with a qualitative approach, where data collection techniques such as the questionnaire with questions were used analysis of images, texts and documents, which allowed the study of the social constructions about the masculinities of the collaborators and of the strategies used during the lessons when teaching gender issues. The study addresses within the conceptual framework and the instruments carried out terms as masculinities and feminities, which are conceptualizations under construction, which allow the approach to topics from a more inclusive approach and open to the range of gender identities. Among the findings are answers that contain confusion in the terminologies and theories regarding gender. Therefore, public universities are urged and private changes in the current curriculum or a greater mainstreaming of the subject. In In the case of the Ministry of Public Education, it is recommended to create strategies that enable the study of masculinities and the development of training that involves this axis thematic.
