Análisis de percepción de los habitantes de las comunidades del Corredor Biológico Alexander Skutch: un insumo al desarrollo comunal

Resumen
En el marco del proyecto Fortalecimiento al desarrollo local de las comunidades que conforman el Corredor Biológico Alexander Skutch, mediante un acompañamiento a los grupos organizados que contribuyen a la sostenibilidad de los recursos naturales, que se desarrolla en la Sede Regional Brunca (2012-2014), se consideró necesario indagar sobre cuál es la percepción y conocimiento de los habitantes de las comunidades de Santa Marta, San Ignacio, Quizarrá, Montecarlo, Santa María, San Francisco y Santa Elena, acerca del corredor biológico del cual dichas comunidades forman parte. Se consideraron variables que permitieran aportar al cumplimiento de los objetivos del proyecto, entre ellas la percepción de los habitantes como elemento clave para desarrollar acciones que lograran contribuir a posesionar la figura del corredor biológico acorde con los fines para los cuales fue creado. Este artículo trata sobre este proceso.
Within the framework of the project Strengthening the local development of the communities that make up the Alexander Skutch Biological Corridor, through accompaniment of the organized groups that contribute to the sustainability of natural resources, which is being developed at the Brunca Regional Headquarters (2012-2014), it was considered necessary to investigate the perception and knowledge of the inhabitants of the communities of Santa Marta, San Ignacio, Quizarrá, Montecarlo, Santa María, San Francisco and Santa Elena, about the biological corridor of which these communities form part. Variables were considered that would contribute to the fulfillment of the project's objectives, among them the perception of the inhabitants as a key element to develop actions that would contribute to the possession of the figure of the biological corridor according to the purposes for which it was created. This article deals with this process.
