This graduation seminar is part of project 0258-11 "Social Responsibility: Management of economic, social and environmental impacts for the internationalization of MSMEs in Costa Rica", which in turn is developed within the framework of the Trade, Technology and Innovation Program (CTI), attached to the School of International Relations of the National University. During the seminar, a proposal for a social responsibility action plan for the Association of Amazonian Women of the Caribbean (AMAC) was developed. The following questions were posed: What is the historical evolution of the concept of social responsibility to understand its current status in Latin America and Costa Rica? How to apply a diagnosis of the actions and practices of social responsibility implemented by the Association of Amazilia Women of the Caribbean? and How to develop a social responsibility proposal for the Association of Amazilia Women of the Caribbean taking into account the approach of the seven fundamental issues of social responsibility? In order to answer the above questions, the research objective was to develop a social responsibility proposal as a competitive advantage tool for the Amazilia del Caribe Women's Association.
