Resumen
Esta investigación se desarrolla dentro del Centro Histórico de Liberia, mismo que
abarca los cuatro barrios más antiguos del cantón: Condega, Los Cerros, Los Ángeles y La
Victoria.
Este proyecto abarca temáticas relacionada a los Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes y la
metodología a emplear para hacer del destino un lugar sostenible, con un buen
aprovechamiento de recursos que priorice los requisitos a seguir en función de sus objetos.
Para determinar el cumplimiento de cada eje se realiza una revisión de los 27 requisitos y
261 indicadores y así identificar cuáles aplican al Centro Histórico de Liberia para realizar
una adaptación de la metodología de SEGITTUR.
Los DTI están compuestos por cinco ejes, Gobernanza, Innovación, Tecnología,
Sostenibilidad y Accesibilidad. Estos ejes como finalidad el mejoramiento de estrategias para
mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes y contribuir a los Objetivos de Desarrollo
Sostenible.
Actualmente el proyecto se encuentra en la fase diagnóstico y planificación, lo que
significa que para hacer el prediagnóstico fue necesario la elaboración de entrevistas, check
list y un cuestionario donde se analizan diferentes aspectos a evaluar y conocer el estado
actual del destino.
Teniendo esta información se desarrolla un plan de acción con el fin de dar ese norte
en el cual se debería de guiar el destino, por medio de proyectos mediante la sinergia de entes
públicos-privados y la academia con el din de iniciar con el proceso de cumplimento de cada
uno de los ámbitos presentes en los ejes.
This investigation is carried out within the Historic Center of Liberia, which covers the four oldest neighborhoods of the canton: Condega, Los Cerros, Los Ángeles and La Victoria. This project covers issues related to Smart Tourist Destinations and the methodology to be used to make the destination a sustainable place, with a good use of resources that prioritizes the requirements to be followed based on its objects. To determine compliance with each axis, a review of the 27 requirements and 261 indicators is carried out and thus identify inappropriate applications to the Historic Center of Liberia to carry out an adaptation of the SEGITTUR methodology.
