Resumen
El objetivo de la investigación consistió en determinar las formas en que la matemática puede influir en la pintura
costarricense, lo cual permite contextualizar la matemática para su enseñanza y aportar en el desarrollo del conocimiento de
esta disciplina.Las técnicas utilizadas para la investigación fueron, entrevista semiestructurada, entrevista a profundidad,
análisis de textos. Los principales resultados detallan la necesidad de considerar previo a abordar la relación entre la
matemática y la pintura costarricense, la presencia de elementos geométricos o aritméticos, elementos de diseño y
composición, presencia de elementos geométricos y su impacto sensorial, y los efectos de la utilización de las tecnologías
The objective of this research was to determine the ways mathematics can influence Costa Rican painting. This allows to contextualize mathematics teaching and collaborates with its development. The following techniques were utilized in this research: Semi estructured interview, in-depth interview and text analysis. The main findings of this research reveal the need to consider, prior to address the relationship between mathematics and Costa Rican painting, the presence of geometric or arithmetic elements of design and composition, presence of geometric elements and their sensory impact, and the effects of the use technological tools
