Resumen
El Atlas Lingüístico Pluridimensional de El Salvador (ALPES): nivel fonético, se desarrolla en el marco del proyecto de Atlas Lingüístico de América Central (ALCA, 2004), que integra los postulados de Coseriu y Thun sobre la geografía lingüística pluridimensional. Las dimensiones en estudio en el ALPES son la diatópica y diastrática, mediante los parámetros diasexual y diageneracional. Considera una red de 20 localidades de El Salvador; un total de 80 informantes y el trabajo de encuesta se realizó entre 2003 y 2004. En el ALPES se estudia la distribución de los fenómenos lingüísticos del nivel fonético del español salvadoreño; por ello comprende una cartografía básica desde la perspectiva geolingüística pluridimensional, identifica do s zonas dialectales generales a nivel del español en El Salvador, corrobora la vigencia de los fenómenos fonéticos tradicionalmente considerados como característicos del español de El Salvador y compara los resultados obtenidos con estudios similares en el ámbito centroamericano.
The Multidimensional Linguistic Atlas of El Salvador (acronyms in Spanish ALPES): phonetically, is carried out under the project Linguistic Atlas of Central America (ALCA, 2004), which integrates the principles of Coseriu and Thun in the multidimensional linguistic geography. The dimensions in study in the ALPES are diatopic and diastratic, using diasexual and diagenerational parameters. It is considered a net of 20 cities in El Salvador; a total of 80 informants, and the research work was carried out between the year 2003 and 2004. In the ALPES, it is studied the distribution of linguistic phenomena of the phonetic level of Salvadoran Spanish; therefore, this includes a basic cartography of the perspective of multidimensional geolinguistic. It identifies two general dialectal areas at the level of Spanish in El Salvador; in addition, it confirms the validity of the phonetic phenomena traditionally considered a characteristic of Spanish in El Salvador, and it also compares the results obtained with similar studies in Central America areas.
