Aspergillus not only affects the poultry industry economically, but also poses a risk to workers associated with the industry and public health. The objective of this research was to document the frequency of Aspergillus spp. isolates in lung samples from farm poultry in Costa Rica, as well as to find variables associated with a higher or lower frequency of these fungi in these organs.
