Cartografía de lo sagrado : una exploración en la espiritualidad malecu

Abstract

La espiritualidad del pueblo malecu conforma una particular visión del mundo, según la cual, sus divinidades Tócu maráma habitan los ríos del territorio ancestral. A la conformación física del territorio le subyace una cartografía sagrada con im-bricaciones simbólicas profundas en la manera en que los sujetos se comprenden a sí mismos, cómo fundamentan el dinamismo de las relaciones sociales y, en última instancia, cómo se vinculan con la naturaleza, y de forma particular con la tierra, lugar de retorno al morir. El subsuelo es espacio de reunión con sus parientes y con todas aquellas personas quienes en vida siguieron las normativas divinas.The spirituality of the Malécu people shapes a particular vision of the world, in which their deities, Tócu maráma, dwell in the rivers of the ancestral territory; to the physical conformation of the territory lies a sacred cartography with deep sym-bolic imbrications in the way of understanding themselves and how they base the dynamism of social relations, and, ultimately, how they are bounded to nature and in a particular way to the earth, a returning point when dying.
