Resumen
En el año 1980, el Departamento de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional participó en el Encuentro Interinstitucional organizado por el Ministerio de Educación Pública. Aquí se señaló la capacitación docente como un área prioritaria de atención.
Además, el Departamento recibe en esta época, peticiones de diferentes centros educativos de Heredia, solicitando charlas, talleres y seminarios que brinden asesoramiento y capacitación a los docentes. Con el objetivo de explorar y de cubrir las necesidades de este sector (docentes y padres de familia), el Departamento ofreció una serie de conferencias, seminarios y discusiones en instituciones educativas de esta provincia.
La reflexión conjunta y la práctica cotidiana demostró que estos esfuerzos eran insuficientes.
En el año 1981 se realizó una experiencia que cubrió veintidós escuelas con sus directores y ciento noventa y seis maestros de la provincia de Heredia.
Simultáneamente se hizo la misma experiencia con los mandos medios (director zonal, directores regionales y asesores).
Esta experiencia consistió en un taller intensivo, en el lugar de trabajo, que tendía fundamentalmente a crear un espacio de intercambio y reflexión sobre el
trabajo cotidiano y la red vincular del equipo docente en la institución.
In 1980, the Department of Psychology of the National University participated in the Interinstitutional Meeting organized by the Ministry of Public Education. Here, teacher training was identified as an area priority attention. In addition, the Department receives at this time, requests from different educational centers in Heredia, requesting talks, workshops and seminars that provide advice and training to teachers. In order to explore and cover the needs of this sector (teachers and parents), the Department offered a series of conferences, seminars and discussions in educational institutions in this province. Joint reflection and daily practice showed that these efforts were insufficient. In 1981, an experience was carried out that covered twenty-two schools with its directors and one hundred and ninety-six teachers from the province of Heredia. Simultaneously, the same experience was made with the middle management (zonal director, regional directors and advisors). This experience consisted of an intensive, on-the-job workshop that tended fundamentally to create a space for exchange and reflection on the daily work and the network of the teaching team in the institution.
