Resumen
El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como fin analizar la viabilidad
que tiene la Cooperativa Cerroazul, de poder exportar su producción de naranja
como fruta fresca a Puerto Rico.
Para la realización del estudio se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, el cual
implica instrumentos de recolección de datos, a través de cuestionarios y
entrevistas, se realizó un diagnostico interno de la empresa, de los diferentes
factores que intervienen para comercializar el producto en mercados
internacionales, un estudio del mercado seleccionado y por último se presenta una
propuesta de un plan de exportación.
Con el análisis interno de la organización se logró determinar el FODA de la
empresa, entre sus principales resultados se puede mencionar que actualmente la
Cooperativa cuenta con las condiciones organizacionales aptas para exportar, sin
embargo dentro de su personal no se cuenta con una persona que hable inglés
por lo que se debe incorporar.
El trabajo brinda un panorama de la empresa, así como de los principales
aspectos que intervienen en el proceso exportador, recomendando un plan de
exportación de manera que puedan competir en el contexto internacional.
El mercado de Puerto Rico representa un excelente mercado para ingresar
la producción costarricense de naranja, derivado de las ventajas competitivas que
se obtuvieron con la aprobación del tratado de libre Comercio. Entre las
recomendaciones que se brindan para la empresa es capacitar al Gerente en
todos los factores del proceso exportador. Así como hacerse acompañar de una
persona bilingüe para poder negociar.
This research project aims to analyze the viability of the Cerroazul Cooperative to export its orange production as fresh fruit to Puerto Rico. To carry out the study, a quantitative approach was used, which involves data collection instruments, through questionnaires and interviews, an internal diagnosis was made of the company, a study of the selected market and a proposal for an export plan. The internal analysis of the organization was able to determine the SWOT of the company, among its main results we can mention that currently the Cooperative has the organizational conditions suitable for exporting, However, there is no English-speaking person on your staff so you should join. The work provides an overview of the company, as well as the main aspects involved in the export process, recommending an export plan so that they can compete in the international context. The Puerto Rico market represents an excellent market for Costa Rican orange production, derived from the competitive advantages obtained with the approval of the free trade agreement. Among the recommendations offered to the company is to train the Manager in all the factors of the export process. As well as being accompanied by a bilingual person to be able to negotiate.
