Abstract

Presentamos para celebrar las fechas patrias de abril un ensayo relevante en cuanto a la temática de la Gesta Histórica de 1856, que ha contribuido a la toma de conciencia del desarrollo nacional y en la conformación del estado costarricense. Desde una importante veta se nos muestra la relación Estado-Iglesia y la relación del Héroe con su pueblo. Es importante recalcar aquí este vínculo del héroe y cómo se ha visto conformado y deformado por los medios de comunicación, como puede observarse en el análisis documental que el autor presenta. Es un texto que nos hace meditar y pensar en las futuras generaciones y su contrapropuesta: el anti-humanismo que se afirma contra valores tradicionales y restringe la visión integral del individuo en el siglo XX. Pueden notarse las distintas concepciones del humanismo y la diversidad del enfoque. Cabe aquí destacar las nuevas corrientes innovadoras en los desafíos culturales de cara al nuevo milenio. Dentro del campo de la literatura tiene el lector un texto magnifico que ahonda en lo que es la tradición de las leyendas muy nuestras.

To celebrate the patriotic dates of April, we present a relevant essay on the subject of the Historical Feat of 1856, which has contributed to the awareness of the national development and the conformation of the Costa Rican state. From an important point of view, it shows us the relationship between the State-Church and the relationship of the Hero with his people. It is important to emphasize here this link of the hero and how it has been shaped and deformed by the media, as can be seen in the documentary analysis presented by the author. It is a text that makes us meditate and think about future generations and its counter-proposal: the anti-humanism that asserts itself against traditional values and restricts the integral vision of the individual in the 20th century. The different conceptions of humanism and the diversity of the approach can be noted. It is worth highlighting here the new innovative currents in the cultural challenges facing the new millennium. In the field of literature, the reader has a magnificent text that delves into the tradition of our very own legends.
