La contribución de los Estudios Sociales y la Educación Cívica para la concientización de la población del distrito de Purral de Goicoechea sobre sus problemas socioambientales, mediante talleres que incentiven su participación ciudadana, durante el periodo 2022-2023

Resumen
La presente investigación analizó las principales problemáticas socioambientales que
afectan en la actualidad al distrito de Purral de Goicoechea, con la finalidad de incentivar
una conciencia ambiental entre sus habitantes que contribuya a mitigar dichas problemáticas.
Para lograr este objetivo, se tomó en cuenta la opinión de los habitantes de la región
mediante la implementación de dos talleres, el primero, de cartografía social, que tuvo como
finalidad realizar un primer acercamiento a las personas habitantes de Purral; en tanto que el
segundo taller giró en torno al diseño de recomendaciones y acciones ciudadanas de
respuesta y para el cual se contó con el apoyo de una ingeniera forestal.
Se buscó además evidenciar el aporte que los Estudios Sociales y la Educación
Cívica pueden ofrecer para los procesos de concientización ambiental, más allá de los
espacios formales de educación. Para lograr este propósito se utilizó un enfoque
investigativo cualitativo, para profundizar el análisis de situaciones sociales específicas.
El tipo de estudio por su parte se orientó hacia la investigación acción, de tal manera
que se pudo combinar tanto el aporte de la educación popular como de los Estudios Sociales
y la Educación Cívica para el abordaje y la respuesta a las problemáticas identificadas. De
igual forma, se recurrió a la triangulación para analizar los datos recolectados tanto en la
investigación documental como en el trabajo de campo. Los resultados evidenciaron las
grandes problemáticas socioambientales que se viven el distrito de Purral, así como la falta
de conciencia de sus habitantes con respecto a los mismos, asimismo, se pudo comprobar la
potencialidad de los Estudios Sociales y la Educación Cívica para el abordaje y
concientización sobre dicha problemática
The present investigation analyzed the main socio-environmental problems that currently affect the district of Purral de Goicoechea, in order to encourage an environmental awareness among its inhabitants that contributes to mitigate these problems.
