Segunda administración Donald Trump en el escenario comercial latinoamericano

Abstract

La dinámica de las relaciones comerciales entre América Latina y Estados Unidos ha tomado fuerza en el debate regional con la llegada a la casa Blanca, por segunda vez, del republicano Donald Trump. A pocas semanas de tomar el mandado, resurgen con más fuerza temas como migración, seguridad, narcotráfico y comercio, que están mediando las relaciones entre las naciones, pero, sobre todo, reconfigurando una escenario donde el bilateralismo emerge con fuerza, a través del uso instrumental económico, fiscal y comercial que apela al proteccionismo para fomentar la producción nacional de Estados Unidos.

The dynamics of trade relations between Latin America and the United States have gained strength in the regional debate with the arrival of Republican Donald Trump to the White House for the second time. A few weeks after taking office, issues such as migration, security, drug trafficking and trade are re-emerging with greater force, which are mediating relations between nations, but, above all, reconfiguring a scenario where bilateralism emerges with force, through the instrumental use of economic, fiscal and commercial instruments that appeal to protectionism to promote national production in the United States.
