Resumen
Costa Rica y en especial la zona sur históricamente se ha caracterizado por el protagonismo del sector agropecuario, como principal actividad económica de la zona, pero que en los últimos años ha venido diversificando la oferta de productos y servicios, esto a través de la introducción del turismo como una de las principales actividades económicas del lugar.
La investigación abordará el tema de cómo los empresarios turísticos de la zona sur
de Costa Rica se ven positiva o negativamente influenciados con los incentivos
estatales existentes o declarados bajo leyes y reglamentos de turismo, que fueron
promovidos inicialmente para estímulo y apoyo de tal actividad. Estos incentivos
abordan temas como exoneraciones de impuestos, precios especiales,
capacitación, acceso a recursos para financiamiento, concesiones de patentes,
entre otros.
Costa Rica and especially the southern zone has historically been characterized by the prominence of the agricultural sector, as the main economic activity in the area, but which in recent years has been diversifying the offer of products and services, this through the introduction of the tourism as one of the main economic activities of the place. Research will address the issue of how tourism businesses in the south of Costa Rica are positively or negatively influenced by the existing state incentives and declared under the laws and regulations of tourism, who were promoted initially to encourage and support such activity. These incentives cover topics such as tax exonerations, special prices, training, access to resources for financing, patent grants, among others.
