Resumen
Analiza el fenómeno de hostigamiento sexual como una realidad en el campo laboral del sector turismo costarricense, y específicamente en el subsector hotelero, y el efecto que la ley pueda tener sobre este problema, además pretende conocer el estado actual de la reglamentación de la Ley contra el Hostigamiento Sexual en el empleo y la docencia, en los centros de trabajo del subsector hotelero, así como determinar los procedimientos que utiliza el sector patronal para atender y tramitar las quejas y denuncias sobre acoso sexual. El estudio es de carácter descriptivo y uno de los instrumentos utilizados para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta.
It analyzes the phenomenon of sexual harassment as a reality in the labor field of the Costa Rican tourism sector, and specifically in the hotel subsector, and the effect that the law may have on this problem. It also seeks to know the current status of the regulation of the Law against Sexual Harassment in employment and teaching, in the workplaces of the hotel subsector, as well as to determine the procedures used by the employer sector to address and process complaints and denunciations of sexual harassment. The study is descriptive in nature and one of the instruments used for data collection was the survey.
